This book was very informative and helped me get through this scary journey. I'm 27 years old and had my 1st cyst when I was in college, around the age of 20. It was about the size of a large pea and after 2 sitz baths, it was gone. This most recent cyst was only my 2nd experience but it blew up to the size of a golf ball! I was completely freaked out. After 3 days of this, I went to the OB/GYN and she assured me that it wasn't an infected abscess. I was only taking 1 salt bath at night and she suggested that I up the baths and I should be fine. This was kind of reassuring considering she didn't think it needed to be cut and drained, like other horror stories I read online and Janet's story in the book. But I was still in debilitating pain! So happy that I found this book with clear recipes and safe home remedies. I limped my way to the natural foods store and bought everything the author suggested for the intensive treatment, except Himalayan salt and comfrey leaf. I already had Epsom salt and couldn't find the leaf in my local store. I started the treatment plan on Monday and the cyst popped on Wednesday morning around 5a.m. in my sleep. The cover of the book is exactly how I felt after it bursted! The treatment is very time consuming so I cancelled every single appointment and meeting I had for those 3 days. I know everyone can't do this, but it was super important that I healed fast so that was my #1 priority. The process is painful and I cried many times. My husband is awesome and was supportive through this process. I couldn't imagine doing everything myself while in so much pain. You can heal yourself and Janet is showing women how! I needed this book. Battling my second bartholin cyst right now and bought this book mentally preparing for a lifetime of periodic pain. I wish she had specified the water amount needed for the measurements of the sitz bath ingredients, since the sitz bath holds much less water than a normal bath; but that's my only qualm with the book. It's clear and to the point and makes me feel like I might have a fighting chance against this thing. I plan to talk about it as much as possible so maybe this ailment will get more attention. The pain is too much to bear.
This method is really a miracle! Thank you Janet Freeland to share it publicly. I was operated of a Bartholin Cyst back in 2014, and in 2015 the problem came back again. I was really upset because I remembered the pain I experienced and I didn't want to live it again. The gynecologists didn't give me any solution and I searched in internet for months until I found this book. I was about to departure to a month yoga teacher's training in Thailand and I was afraid that the cyst would get infected there. Hopefully and thanks to this method, the cyst shrink and slowly disappeared.
I am glad to own this book, but everything in it wasn't new information about the cyst, which I was hoping for more...also I didn't get the copy of "Full Body Detox Method eBook that was included with the Bartholin Cyst Miracle Method." -Text from the book. So that's disappointing since I believe that might help more too. Over all its good information but again, Google told me all of it before. Thanks for writing janet.
I just purchased this ebook a few hours ago out of pure desperation for relief. I have been suffering from bartholin cysts for years. Only once before has it developed into an abscess and I had no choice but to get it drained. It helped immediately but was mentally scaring. That was about 4ish years ago and the cyst never went away. It rarely hurts and I chose to pretend it wasnt even there ... until 4 days ago. Today I cant stand, walk, or sit without excruciating pain. Like others have said, I saw online about the baths but I clearly wasnt doing them right. That being said, I just followed Janet's advice (as best I could with what I have on hand.) And, for the first time in days, have stopped crying from the pain. One bath and I already feel sooooo much better!
I've ordered everything I didnt already have and plan on following your advice to a tee. I'll update the review as things progress, but I can already say that this was worth it! Thank you, Janet!
I'm so glad I've found this ebook! I had to endure a bartholin cyst thru pregnancy because doctors didn't want to touch it as your blood flow increases during pregnancy. After my baby was delivered the Bartholin cyst got really bad super unconfortable, again the doctor offered either drainage (which i had before and was pain full) or marsupialization which reading online never worked for anyone..
Reading online i've found a lot of people talking about Tea Tree Oil helping but there wasn't a lot of guidance of how much to use etc. After 2 days of using tea tree oil drops I've found this book! Did the sitz bath once and the compress once as well and the cyst started draining by it self on the same day!! a couple of hours after the compress it did the trick! (it probably helped that I had a long walk after doing the compress)
I didn't take any of the supplements mentioned in the book because I'm breastfeeding and they aren't deemed as safe by "Infant Risk" (you can call them about anything you might be concerned taking while breastfeeding)
I'm so happy with these book recommendations! It is a lot of work but mennnnn so much better than getting a cut! now I know how to prevent this thing from coming back!!!
I wish Janet would update this ebook and add more details about working to avoid reoccurrence and impact to breastfeeding than that fantastic!
